School Information Updates

Letter from Poʻokumu 4/23/21

Aloha kākou,

As we get closer to the end of this school year, our hard-working staff in the keʻena need all of your help in turning in any last CEP surveys by May 6th and any outstanding financial obligations you might have by no later than May 18.

These outstanding financial balances may include:

  • unpaid class dues

  • overdue lunch accounts from past school year

  • unpaid summer school tuition from past school year

  • charges for lost or damaged devices signed out from the school

The office has sent out regular monthly reminders as well so families who have outstanding financial obligations know the amount and reason for the bill.

Please make sure that you take care of these outstanding obligations right away. Mahalo nui loa!!

Naʻu nō me ka haʻahaʻa,

Na C. Babā Yim

E Kākau Inoa no ka papa Mālaaʻo!
Register Now for Kindergarten!

Ka Papa Mālaa`o (Kindergarten) for students whose dates of birth are August 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016:

It is our ongoing policy to accept as many Mālaaʻo students as possible. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to reduce our allowable class sizes. For the 2021-2022, we anticipate being able to accommodate a total of 32 Papa Malaa’o (Kindergarten) students. We encourage parents to fill out their paperwork early.

Admission will be limited by class size/enrollment. Complete applications will be date/time stamped. Students will be placed in classes if a space becomes available in the order that their complete application was received.

This is ONLY for new students; current students DO NOT need to reapply.

For application paperwork and information,

parents should call the school office at 307-3000 (M-F, 8:00 am-3:30pm)

For further information & questions, please contact:

Help Wanted for yearbook photos

Hello Parents / Guardians

Remember going to school? Think back to all the excitement, trepidation, accomplishments, friendships, and more. Isn't it incredible that your child is in the midst of creating his or her own version of school memories?

Obviously, this year's school experience is unlike the one we all had. But the core memories are the same: learning, growing, laughing, friendships, struggles, and more.

Our school's yearbook team is working diligently to create a book that preserves these memories and tells the stories of a year unlike any we've ever experienced. You're going to want this book for the historic value alone, but also consider this: There's a good chance your child will be in it. That deserves a space on your bookshelf, which your child will grow to appreciate in the years to come.

Pre-order your book now because they're likely to sell out.

This isn't just a book, it's a way to help your child remember and appreciate the incredible experience of what school was like in 2020 and 2021.

Yearbooks on sale NOW! $30.
